Featuring gorgeous costumes, thrilling swordplay, and some of Shakespeare’s most iconic scenes in a timeless, fairytale setting, our immersive, promenade-style production of Romeo and Juliet will place you at the centre of the action, following the play from scene to scene amidst the natural beauty of the Fredericton Botanic Garden as the sun sets.

Meanwhile, romantic confusion will abound in Twelfth Night, featuring a bevy of lovers whose romantic wires get hilariously crossed by the combined forces of disguise, miscommunication, and that classic Shakespearean plot device, a pair of twins. Performed in historic Barracks Square, Twelfth Night is one of Shakespeare’s most beloved romantic comedies, reimagined in the fluid, high-spirited, and colorful style of the 1970s.
