Bard in the Barracks closed an amazing 2024 season, featuring productions of Twelfth Night in Barracks Square and Romeo and Juliet in the Fredericton Botanic Garden, on Sunday. This was one of our most successful and best-attended years ever, with both shows drawing large crowds and heaps of praise.
We have many people we’d like to thank in closing, including our funders City of Fredericton GovernmentUNB Frederictonartsnb and Downtown Fredericton, and our venue partners New Brunswick College of Craft and DesignFredericton Capital Region Tourism and the Fredericton Botanic Garden Association. Thanks to our amazingly talented and hard working cast and crew (look at those smiling faces!), and we’ll even give you a shout out for once, Mother Nature, for a pretty decent (if not perfect..) run of weather overall.
But we’d particularly like to thank all of you who came out to see the shows. Thanks so much for making Bard in the Barracks part of your summer! We’re already looking forward to next year and hope you’ll join us again then. In the meantime, we hope you’ll take in some of the shows at the @notableacts Theatre Festival, running July 24-August 3.
