Have you heard? Bard in the Barracks will be making a big comeback this summer, staging two new productions!
Julius Caesar, Shakespeare’s famous tragedy of political intrigue, conspiracy, and revolution, will be performed on the streets of downtown Fredericton in an exciting and unconventional production directed by Len Falkenstein. Meanwhile, the much-loved pastoral romantic comedy As You Like It, about a group of nomads who flee oppression in the city and find freedom and love in the country, will be staged amid the greenery of Odell Park, directed by Tilly Jackson. The productions will run in repertory from June 17-July 3, with pay-what-you-wish preview performances on June 15th and 16th. Keep watching this space for further news on the shows, coming soon!
